<p><strong>Location:</strong> Montreal, QC</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Contract, 12 months to start</p><p><strong>Work arrangement</strong>: Initial 3 months -5 days onsite, after that 3 days from office, 2 days remote</p><p><br></p><p><em>Only candidates legally eligible to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship will be contacted</em></p><p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Data Administrator</strong> to join a financial services team supporting client and counterparty data across multiple operational and trading systems.</p><p>This is a great opportunity for someone with a <strong>banking operations, securities settlement, static data, client data, or back-office</strong> background who enjoys working with data, systems, reconciliations, and multiple stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and maintain client/counterparty information across internal applications and trading systems</li><li>Review daily reconciliations and investigate data discrepancies between systems</li><li>Support client onboarding and maintain electronic platform access</li><li>Process client address and account information updates</li><li>Close inactive client files and accounts in downstream systems</li><li>Monitor and maintain required client documentation and certifications</li><li>Obtain and validate tax certifications, including <strong>W-8 and W-9 forms</strong></li><li>Support the collection and processing of Prime Brokerage documentation</li><li>Set up and maintain <strong>USD Fed Wire payment templates</strong></li><li>Ensure documentation is properly maintained and available for verification</li><li>Work closely with KYC, Compliance, Tax, Front Office, Sales/Relationship Management and Operations teams</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>University degree</li><li><strong>2+ years of experience within a financial institution</strong></li><li>Experience in <strong>Back Office, Securities Operations, Trade Settlement, Static Data, Client Data or related banking operations</strong></li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>Microsoft Office, particularly Excel</strong></li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time pressure</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in <strong>English</strong></li><li>Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>KYC / client onboarding</strong></li><li>Knowledge of tax certifications such as W-8/W-9</li><li>Experience with banking/trading or payment systems</li><li>Experience with reconciliations and data validation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>PlanIT is an equal opportunity employer.
