Customer Service Representative - Evenings & Weekends

Customer Service Representative (Temp, Part-time) Remote, Canada LodgeLink is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Experience Team.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Customer Experience, this is a remote, work-from-home position based in Calgary, Alberta, with occasional travel to our Calgary head office for training, team events, and special meetings.

This is a contract opportunity offering a starting wage of $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience.

Availability Requirements Selected candidates must be available to attend a mandatory two-week training program from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. MT. Following training, shifts will be scheduled during the following operating hours:

  • Weekdays: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. MST
  • Weekends: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. MST
While we provide advance schedules and strive to accommodate team members' preferences, availability during these hours is essential to support business needs. About You You are a customer-focused problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and remain calm under pressure while delivering exceptional service. You are adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating positive customer experiences.

Experience in a contact centre, hospitality, travel, or accommodation-related environment is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with reservations, including booking, modifying, cancelling, and account support via phone, email, and chat.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by leveraging product knowledge and customer support tools.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues while creating positive and engaging customer interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and accommodation suppliers to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Identify customer needs and provide value-driven solutions by highlighting LodgeLink's products and services.
  • Escalate complex issues as required and identify trends and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Create, review, and publish new property listings on LodgeLink.com, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, brand-aligned, and visually appealing.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing successes, insights, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. MT on weekends and between 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm on weeknights (no overnight shifts).
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is required.
  • Experience working with reservation systems and customer support platforms; Sabre experience is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain processes clearly and create customer-facing content.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage bookings, tickets, and customer information accurately.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality, workforce accommodation, or travel industries is considered an asset.
