This is a remote role, and candidates based in the Okanagan will be prioritized. Kamloops is preferred, and we are open to other areas in the Okanagan. You will lead the accounting team, work closely with operations leaders, and deliver the reporting that leadership and ownership rely on.

  • Design and document internal controls, approval limits, and month-end procedures.
  • Improve systems and automation, including AP, receipt capture, bank feeds, and reporting.
  • Lead, train, and develop the accounting team, setting priorities and reviewing work.
  • Oversee payroll accounting and remittance reconciliations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience leading audit preparation and working directly with external auditors.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with mid-market ERP/accounting systems.
