Coffee Shop Shift Supervisor - Mornings / Evenings - Great Benefits

Join a team as a Shift Supervisor where you'll support store operations during designated shifts. As a leader, you will guide team members and delegate tasks to create an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Keep a calm and positive demeanor during busy periods or unexpected events to maintain store standards.
  • Stay alert to customer and store needs by monitoring the environment and customer interactions.
  • Share information with management so the team can adapt to maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with training new team members, providing positive reinforcement, and constructive feedback.
  • Offer performance feedback to management about team members during shifts.
  • Foster a positive team environment by noting changes in morale or performance and communicating with management.
  • Encourage a learning atmosphere by offering clear, timely, and respectful coaching.
  • Provide excellent customer service, putting the customer first and addressing needs promptly.
  • Develop relationships with the team by understanding their motivations and concerns.
  • Manage store operations during assigned shifts, including organizing opening and closing tasks.
  • Follow company policies on cash handling, safety, and security to ensure the safety of all team members.
  • Ensure cash management practices are followed by the team.
  • Follow up with baristas to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistently deliver quality beverages and food products by following recipes and presentation standards.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Utilize recognition tools in cooperation with management to celebrate individual and team success.
  • Use operational tools to maintain excellence during the shift.

Experience Required

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant setting
