Claims Service Representative, Bilingual

Job Description:

  • Obtain first notice of loss reports for non-complex auto and property claims through an Express Claim Center
  • Handle customer questions about processes, policies, and next steps
  • Update claim information
  • Schedule inspections, send mitigation vendors or contractors to customer property, or arrange housing as needed
  • Contact or receive contact from customers and claim-related third parties to obtain or provide file information
  • Receive, screen, and route incoming telephone calls and electronic correspondence
  • Explain the basic claim process and provide general information to customers
  • Retrieve, print, fax, or mail supporting documentation to vendors or others
  • Locate, request, file, reconstruct, move, and transfer claim files
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, email, calendar management, and word processing
  • Traiter tous les appels de premier avis de sinistre (PAS) auto et habitation

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Competency in oral and written communication
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Skilled in providing exceptional customer service
  • Able to work under pressure and handle high volumes efficiently
  • One year of experience in an auto/home claims adjuster position
  • Digital literacy
  • Claims administration knowledge
  • Quality management
  • Time management
