Our I2CARE values ensure that we, as a work community, treat all with inclusivity, innovation, collaboration, accessibility, respect and equity.</p> <p>As an employer, we strive for excellence as a workplace and are committed to building a workforce that enhances our capacity to meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve.</p> <p>We are currently looking to hire a:</p> <p><strong>CHIROPODIST</strong><br /> <strong>2- Full Time, Permanent (35 hours/week)</strong><br /> <strong>1- Part Time, Permanent (17.5 hours/week)</strong><br /> <strong>1- Part Time, 1 year contract (17.5 hours/week)</strong><br /> <strong>1- Part Time, 1 year contract (28 hours/week)</strong></p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong><br /> The Chiropodist will provide specialized foot care for individuals and families living in the Scarborough community who are marginalized or deemed to be at risk in some way.</p> <p><strong>Key areas of responsibility:</strong><br /> ·        Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education, counseling and other clinical foot care activities according to college standards: surgical care, casting for orthotics, foot-ware assessments, wound management.</p> <p>·        Complete EMR chart documentation requirements; participates in chart audit and peer reviews, clinical case conferences, clinical referrals.</p> <p>·        Participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of treatment, education, counseling and health promotion programs and services.</p> <p>·        Participates in group initiatives as required.</p> <p>·        Assist in administrative functions associated with ordering orthotics, supplies and instruments.</p> <p>·        Willingness to preceptor students from academic facilities.</p> <p>·        Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonable within the scope of practice.</p> <p><strong>Educational and Professional Qualifications:</strong><br /> ·        Undergraduate degree from a recognized University.</p> <p>·        Diploma from a recognized school of chiropody.</p> <p>·        Registration and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.</p> <p><strong>Level of Experience:</strong><br /> ·        Three to five years of chiropody experience within community health, hospital, or an independent setting.</p> <p>·        Experience caring for diabetes clients is considered an asset.</p> <p>·        Experience in program development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.</p> <p>·        Experience working with electronic health care records; eg.
