Job Summary

 

To plan and manage all operational activities associated with cargo service handling in line with our procedures, policies, and brand values.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable cargo operations while meeting customer service expectations and operational objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage teams to achieve Service Level Agreements (SLA), productivity targets, and operational performance goals.
  • Assist in monitoring operational performance and KPIs to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements related to employees, equipment, facilities, and aircraft operations.
  • Oversee workplace health and safety programs, incident reporting, investigations, return-to-work processes, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee, monitor, and evaluate the operation's performance to ensure increased profitability and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for any variances and take appropriate action
  • Monitor and track quality standards of the Cargo operation and ensure continuous improvements in workflows and services to maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensure operational processes comply with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation, procedures, and compliance records.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, address service concerns, and implement improvement actions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and employee development through effective leadership and coaching.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, airport authorities, and business partners.

 

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the industry
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to operational quality and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of general office operations and business support functions.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, as required to support operational needs.
  • Highly reliable professional with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
