Caregiver for Indian Elderly in Akron, Ohio, USA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide care for an elderly Indian individual in Akron Ohio. As a caregiver your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the elderly individual under your care. This is a live-in position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities Provide personal care such as bathing grooming and dressing

Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation medication reminders and light housekeeping

Monitor and record the elderly individuals health status and report any changes to their family or healthcare provider

Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation

Accompany the individual to appointments or social outings as needed

Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the individual at all times

Follow any specific care instructions provided by the family or healthcare provider

Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience working as a caregiver for elderly individuals

Familiarity with Indian culture and customs is preferred

Ability to communicate effectively in English knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus

Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Must be legally authorized to work in the USA visa sponsorship may be available

Must be willing to undergo a background check

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility if needed

Salary The salary for this position is $1400 per month
