Business Analyst – AI and Digital Product Delivery [AQ-19883]

<strong>The Opportunity<br><br></strong>Aquent is partnering with a leading Canadian retailer on a high-visibility AI transformation that is changing how ecommerce product content is created, evaluated, approved, and published.<br><br>The initiative is already underway and approaching an important implementation and go-live period. We’re looking for a hands-on Business Analyst who can quickly understand a complex environment, partner closely with business and technology teams, and help move multiple AI use cases from refinement and validation through implementation, adoption, and launch.<br><br>This role sits at the intersection of <strong>Business Analysis, digital product delivery, AI/automation, and change management</strong>. You’ll help ensure that solutions not only work technically, but are understood, trusted, and successfully adopted by the business teams who will use them.<br><br>This could be a strong opportunity for someone who has supported complex digital transformation initiatives and wants deeper hands-on experience bringing enterprise AI solutions into production.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Quickly build an understanding of a complex AI transformation program already in progress, including existing requirements, documentation, workflows, stakeholders, and dependencies.</li><li>Partner directly with business teams to refine, validate, and prioritize requirements across multiple AI and automation use cases.</li><li>Understand current business processes and identify how AI-enabled workflows will change the way teams work.</li><li>Identify gaps between business needs, technical requirements, proposed solutions, and actual user workflows.</li><li>Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and implementation plans.</li><li>Work closely with Product, Technology, Content teams, and third-party implementation partners to keep work moving toward launch.</li><li>Independently own assigned use cases and drive them through refinement, validation, implementation, testing, and business readiness.</li><li>Support AI output evaluation and help identify quality issues, exceptions, business rules, guardrails, and situations requiring human review.</li><li>Coordinate UAT, gather business feedback, identify defects and gaps, and help determine whether solutions meet business expectations.</li><li>Manage dependencies, risks, decisions, action items, milestones, and timelines across concurrent workstreams.</li><li>Use Excel, Power BI, dashboards, and operational reporting to monitor progress, identify trends, and communicate findings.</li><li>Provide clear updates to business partners, Product leadership, and senior stakeholders.</li><li>Identify adoption risks, workflow gaps, training needs, and potential resistance as new AI capabilities are introduced.</li><li>Help business users understand AI capabilities and limitations, including when outputs can be trusted and when human review is required.</li><li>Support business readiness through training materials, SOPs, communications, user education, and change-management activities.</li><li>Gather feedback following implementation and identify opportunities to improve AI outputs, workflows, processes, and user adoption.</li><li>Support the transition from implementation into go-live, stabilization, and future phases of the product.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar hands-on digital product/delivery professional.</li><li>Demonstrated experience gathering, clarifying, documenting, and validating requirements for complex technology or digital initiatives.</li><li>Experience working directly with business users as well as technical or delivery teams.</li><li>Experience supporting digital products or technology initiatives through requirements, testing/UAT, implementation, and go-live.</li><li>Practical exposure to AI, Generative AI, LLMs, automation, or AI-enabled business solutions.</li><li>Understanding of the importance of AI output quality, validation, business rules, guardrails, exceptions, and human review.</li><li>Experience supporting technology adoption, change management, training, process change, or business readiness as part of a digital implementation.</li><li>Experience working within Agile delivery environments and familiarity with user stories, backlogs, acceptance criteria, sprint delivery, and release readiness.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, priorities, and dependencies simultaneously.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with experience using data and reporting to identify issues and communicate progress.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to make complex technical concepts understandable to business audiences.</li><li>Confidence in asking questions, challenging assumptions appropriately, raising risks, and recommending next steps.</li><li>Ability to independently navigate an established project, absorb existing documentation, and become productive quickly.</li><li>Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable product/delivery tools.</li><li>Strong Excel skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice to
