Box Truck Delivery Driver

We love delivering packages, but we love seeing customers smile even more! We are looking for experienced box truck drivers who are interested in joining our team on a casual, part-time basis with the opportunity for extra shifts during the busy peak season Duties Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle with a rated capacity of 4500 kg or more Use a mobile device for routing information and customer delivery information Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area Work with a delivery helper to load and unload packages Provide white glove or enhanced delivery service as required Enthusiastically and responsibly represent our company's dedication to accuracy, safety, and excellence in customer service Hours of Work, Schedules & Training Start time approximately 4:30 am 10 hour shifts We deliver Monday to Saturday Comprehensive delivery skills and safety training provided Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate is $** to $** Flexible schedule, up to 30 hours per week Opportunity for extra shifts during Peak Season (October to January) Growth opportunity for regular full time Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age 2 years of commercial driving (box truck) required Experience with professional moving and/or appliance installation an asset Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record, CDL preferred Able to team lift up to 68 kg (150 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation Able to get in and out of a box truck, and walk up and down stairs throughout a 10-hour shift Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all seasons Job Types : Part-time, Casual Pay: $**-$** per hour Expected hours: No more than 30 per week Benefits : Flexible schedule On-site parking Paid time off Work Location: In person
