Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable part-time Bookkeeper / Data Entry Assistant to maintain daily financial records and support project administration. Financial records are currently a week or two behind, so this person will be responsible for keeping books current on a daily basis to ensure accurate, up-to-date executive summaries for the business owner.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

•   Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, keeping records current (no backlog)

•   Reconcile accounts and transactions on a regular basis

•   Prepare accurate summaries to support executive-level financial visibility

•   Flag discrepancies or issues proactively

Data Entry & Project Administration

•   Enter and maintain project data in Builder Trend

•   Support general data entry and administrative record-keeping needs

•   Help keep project and financial information organized and easy to reference

Communication & Responsiveness

•   Remain responsive to tasks and communication throughout the working day

•   Flexible on specific daily hours, provided tasks are completed reliably and on time

Requirements

•   Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required

•   Experience with Builder Trend or similar construction/project management software is a strong plus

•   Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry

•   Comfortable working independently with a flexible schedule while staying responsive

•   Trustworthy and comfortable handling sensitive financial data and systems access
