We want to hear from you.<br><br>As a BIM/VDC Coordinator within Pomerleau's Innovation team, you will play a key role in the future of design and construction. You will be called upon to support project teams and help them successfully use cutting-edge VDC tools and methods. Working on large-scale construction projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will support project growth and execution through BIM (Building Information Modeling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) technologies.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li> Assist and support the project team in the implementation and use of BIM/VDC processes;</li><li> Develop protocols for key elements such as communication, data exchange, and the 3D workspace;</li><li> Collaborate with designers and trades to draft and review BIM management plans and BIM execution plans;</li><li> Participate in creating project-specific terminology for contracts and tenders as part of the BIM bidding process;</li><li> Train your team in the use of Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud;</li><li> Creatively design 4D simulations that allow users to experience their project in virtual and augmented reality;</li><li> By piloting our drones, support site logistics and quality assurance of the work by integrating point clouds from laser scanning or using mobile technology.<br><br></li></ul>This role could be for you if you have :<br><br><ul><li> A bachelor's degree in construction engineering or civil engineering, or a technical diploma in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience;</li><li> Over 3 years of experience in BIM in the construction or architecture sector;</li><li> Proficiency in one or more computer-aided design tools in the field of civil engineering, including: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla, Rhino + Grasshopper;</li><li> Proficiency in parametric modeling (an asset);</li><li> Nav Canada drone pilot certificate for advanced operations (an asset);</li><li> Experience working with BIM software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li> RRSP with up to 5% employer matching</li><li> Hybrid work model for corporate roles</li><li> Employee stock ownership program</li><li> Career growth through real development opportunities</li><li> Transit pass reimbursement — get to work for free</li><li> Minimum 4 weeks of vacation from day one<br><br></li></ul>For the past six years, we've proudly held the distinction of being one of Canada's Top 100 Employers.<br><br>The expected compensation range posted for this role applies to available work locations in Ontario and/or British Columbia.
