Billing Administrator (Bilingual FR/EN)

The Billing Administrator (“BA”) provides exceptional internal and external client service, working directly with clients and with partners, practice staff and partner assistants to provide key financial management tasks critical to the firm’s financial performance. BAs are responsible for managing their partners’ financial management activities including invoice preparation, WIP and accounts receivable management, and reporting.<p><b>The Opportunity:  </b></p><p>As a Bilingual Billing Administrator, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to: </p><ul><li><p>Set up new client job codes in the firm’s accounting software, including all associated maintenance (e.g., budget rates) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor WIPs, review engagement letters to determine fees to be charged, and liaise with managers to ensure out of pocket expenses are captured </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Draft, finalize, and issue invoices to clients on a timely basis to support achievement of partners’ monthly billing targets (i.e., NIDO) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Respond to client queries regarding invoices, including preparation of analyses and preparation of amended invoices when required (as directed by the partner/manager) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare, finalize and issue credit notes </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Update and manage fee and billing schedules </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare monthly detailed analysis of WIP (as required by the partner/manager) to ensure the WIP value reflects what is expected to be recovered in fees from the client. When it doesn’t, prepare month-end WIP provisions for review with partner/manager </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor and/or manage the partner’s overall financial investment, including WIP, A/R and cash collection actuals to target (i.e. NIDO) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Track fees against budget, and conduct global fee reporting as required </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Generate aged A/R reports and review with partner to determine actions required for aging accounts </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You'll Bring: </b><br />Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
