Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Baristas to join our Hotel X Toronto Starbucks team! As a Starbucks Barista, you will be the friendly face welcoming our customers and bringing the Starbucks experience to life in vibrant hotel setting. You’ll make handcrafted drinks, share smiles, and connect with new people everyday.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome all customers, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform opening & closing duties including setting up necessary supplies, tools, cleaning all equipment areas, securing the premises.
  • Prepare beverages with attention to detail and quality and remain open to learning new things (especially the latest beverage recipe!).
  • Follow hotel operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety and security protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning dishes, tables, and work areas throughout the shift.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Store Manager/Supervisor to support smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • Consistently maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • Demonstrate a “customer comes first attitude”, delivering exceptional customer service. and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new recipes, procedures, or tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills.
