Founded in 2008, The MRG Group is Canada’s largest independent entertainment company, specializing in live entertainment, hospitality, ticketing, travel, and digital media.

Who You Are:

You are the unsung hero of the night and the engine room of the bar. As our Bar Back, you’ll keep the drinks flowing and the bartenders moving by ensuring everything they need is stocked, prepped, and ready to go. You are the backbone of the floor and the bar, working behind the scenes to keep the party alive and kicking. You have a 'no task is too small' attitude and can anticipate what the bartenders need before they even ask. You take pride in keeping your workspace organized, clean, and safe—running your zones with confidence and hustle.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Restock ice, glassware, garnishes, and alcohol quickly and efficiently throughout the night.
  • Change kegs, run heavy cases of beer, and prep backbar inventory so the bartenders never miss a beat.
  • Ensure we never run out of the essentials, keeping a sharp eye on stock levels.
  • Clear empty cups, bottles, and trash from the bar top and guest areas to keep the venue looking sharp.
  • Manage glassware rotation, ensuring cups are washed, sanitized, and returned to the bar at lightning speed.
  • Clean up spills immediately to maintain a safe, dry environment for both staff and guests.
  • Work closely with bartenders, servers, and security to keep the energy high and operations smooth.
