About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Assembly Line Lead to supervise operations within their manufacturing facility in Markham, Ontario . This role is essential for ensuring that assembly lines operate efficiently, meet production targets, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for guiding a team of assembly line workers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to production schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of assembly processes in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead and direct a team of assembly line operators, providing guidance and support. Ensure production targets are met daily by monitoring line performance and addressing any bottlenecks. Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the assembly process. Train new assembly line employees on procedures, safety protocols, and quality expectations. Report production metrics, issues, and team performance to management. Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education or trade certification is an asset. 2+ years of experience working on an assembly line in a manufacturing setting. Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role is highly desirable. Strong understanding of assembly processes and quality control measures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
