Our AI & Advanced Analytics practice is growing, and we're looking for a

Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of client engagements, drive business development, and help shape the direction of our AI capability in Western Canada.

As a Senior Manager,

you'll operate as a key leader within the practice, accountable for delivery quality across multiple concurrent engagements, trusted advisor to clients, and an active contributor to the growth of our pipeline and our people.

You'll lead AI programs end-to-end: setting up governance and operating models, directing technical teams to build and deploy AI solutions, and ensuring clients realize measurable value.

This is a client-facing role with significant time spent on-site or in PwC offices.

The location of this role is in Calgary, Alberta.

Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:

  • L ead multiple concurrent client engagements , owning delivery quality, commercial performance, risk, and client satisfaction.

  • Direct full-lifecycle AI programs—from use case identification and prioritization through model development, deployment, and value realization.

  • Establish and operate AI governance frameworks for clients, including responsible AI, model risk management, data governance, and operating model design.

  • Build the operational backbone of client AI programs: intake, prioritization, delivery cadences,

    MLOps

    , and performance measurement.

  • Provide direction to data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers as they design, build, and deploy production AI/ML solutions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives , shaping AI strategy and translating it into actionable roadmaps.

  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships across business, technology, and risk functions, aligning competing priorities and driving outcomes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity and credibility.

  • Contribute to the practice's commercial agenda: identify and qualify opportunities, lead proposals and RFP responses, and shape solution offerings.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying adjacent value and bringing the right PwC capabilities to the table.

  • Contribute to thought leadership, points of view, and go-to-market assets that strengthen our market position.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers, consultants, and technical specialists across your engagements.

  • Provide performance feedback, mentorship, and career sponsorship as part of PwC's coaching culture.
  • Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, and capability building within the practice.

Here's what we look for:

  • Experience identifying , prioritizing, and delivering AI / advanced analytics use cases end-to-end

  • Experience building and running AI programs, including governance and strategy/operations components
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders (including C-suite) to define business outcomes from AI initiatives

  • Strong client-facing and delivery experience, working across both business and technical teams
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering AI/analytics solutions in real environments
  • Consulting experience (boutique or large firms) strongly preferred, with a profile similar to high-performing consultants
  • Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI use cases and drive execution

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to implement and deplo
