Administrative Assistant – Data Entry
Job Description:
- Support client transactions in the group life and disability insurance sector.
- Upload documents to member files.
- Enter data into member files.
- Generate barcodes to catalogue documents.
- Sort relevant information for members.
- Review received data to identify errors, inconsistencies, and omissions.
- Meet productivity standards according to the learning curve.
- Use various tools and validate the feasibility of transactions.
- Assist with special projects as requested by a direct supervisor or team lead.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Report directly to the Senior Manager, Outsourced Services (BPO).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative experience: 1 year (an asset).
- Hands-on user experience with a solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfortable with technology.
- Good typing speed with accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Intermediate English level for daily analysis of bilingual documentation and files, and for reading and writing notes, reports and emails in English for English-speaking clients and partners (an asset).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Analytical mindset.
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility, reliability and discretion.
