Ce poste est centre sur le soutien administratif et operationnel aux souscripteurs.

Dans ce role, tu releveras du Chef d'equipe - support aux operations, et tu developperas une base solide en pratiques de souscription tout en contribuant a l'efficacite de l'equipe.

Responsabilites principales

  • Preparer les documents d'assurance standards a l'aide de modeles et des directives des souscripteurs
  • Saisir et mettre a jour les donnees dans Guidewire ou d'autres systemes
  • Organiser et maintenir les dossiers numeriques de souscription
  • Repondre aux demandes courantes des courtiers et escalader les dossiers plus complexes
  • Aider a recueillir les informations de souscription pour les soumissions
  • Soutenir les efforts de conformite en assurant l'exactitude de la documentation

Profil

  • Minimum 1 an d'experience dans le domaine de l'assurance
  • Competences de base a intermediaires dans Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook
  • Bilinguisme (anglais/francais) pour soutenir les souscripteurs et courtiers partout au Canada, a l'oral et a l'ecrit
  • Souci du detail et excellentes competences organisationnelles
  • Capacite a gerer plusieurs demandes et a bien prioriser
  • Adaptabilite et proactivite
  • Autonomie et sens des responsabilites

If you would like to actively contribute to transforming the commercial insurance sector within a fast-growing company, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team as an Underwriting Assistant. This role focuses on providing administrative and operational support to underwriters.


In this position, you will report to the Team Lead - Operations Support, and you will develop a solid foundation in underwriting practices while contributing to the team's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare standard insurance documents using templates and underwriters' guidelines
  • Enter and update data in Guidewire or other systems
  • Organize and maintain digital underwriting files
  • Respond to routine broker requests and escalate more complex cases
  • Help gather underwriting information for submissions
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring documentation accuracy

Profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bilingual (English/French) to support underwriters and brokers across Canada, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptability and proactivity
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
