Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 309A Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation and upgrades, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to make a tangible impact. Solar and HVAC electrical experience is preferred, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting processes.
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision.
  • Work on construction sites and renovation projects, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools; identify root causes quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure ongoing safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical installations and repairs.
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems, control wiring, and automation components including PLCs.
  • Experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications in existing structures.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes related to electrical work; capable of working in dynamic environments.
  • Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting across various maintenance tasks.
